Manchester Quits the List of Top 10 UK Destinations

Manchester has dropped out of top 10 UK destinations. The city is no longer traveler’s favorite according to TripAdvisowebsite. The website London scooped the first place; second place was taken by Edinburgh with Torquary scooping the third place, followed behind by Liverpool and Belfast in fourth and fifth positions, the Camden Market is also a another place to visit because it attracts more 40 million visitors each year.York was placed sixth, Bristol seven, Llandudno wales the eighth follows on the ninth and Brigham in the last position locking out Manchester in the list. 


Manchester evening news says “Neil Robinson, lecturer in marketing and tourism at the University of Salford, says Manchester is still a top destination with plenty to offer - but believes it should boost its music tourism to capitalize on its rich musical history. He added: ”The fact it’s dropped out isn’t necessarily a bad indicator for Manchester - it just shows there’s an increase in competition.”



Music tourism is not yet fully developed. Tours are made but the chance to brand Manchester according to its musical heritage is not appreciated, he said. He also added that Manchester is not yet tired it still not the same as it was 10years ago. It is neater, pocket friendly and still in good shape. He also said that seven years Belfast was a developing city but at the moment is a well-known place by travelers, several shopping malls are also provide Gaming facility to enjoy. He also said that Manchester has always been a popular destination for tourists for more than 15years and in the recent times more cities have emerged, and Manchester should make something out of their heritage in music.


World tours chose London as the third world wide destination, with Istanbul and Rome being ahead of the UK. On the global city lists, London took the title from the previous winners in 2013 which are Paris and New YORK that dropped to be in 7th and 12th places in that order.Trip Advisor James Kay stated “These awards are based on millions of reviews and ratings by those that really matter- the travelers themselves”
